Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ:

  • What are your hours?
    • We have open studio hours Tuesday-Thursday from 11:00-5:00, Friday & Saturday 11:00-8:00, and Sunday 12:00-4:00. We are closed on Monday. Paintbrush Pottery reserves the right to close 30 minutes prior to scheduled closing time if no one is painting in studio.
  • Do I need a reservation to PAINT?
    • Yes! Reservations are required for in-studio painting. You can make a reservation by clicking here or calling 937-748-8707.
  • Do I need a reservation to PICK-UP my pottery?
    • No, you do not need a reservation to pick-up your finished pottery projects. You can pick-up your finished projects after 2:00 on your pick-up date. Always call the studio before stopping in to pick-up to make sure your items are out of the kiln.
  • How long is my reservation?
    • You will have a two hour time block such as 11:00-1:00, 11:30-1:30, etc. We take reservations on the hour or on the half hour.
  • Do I need to wear a mask?
    • Yes, masks are required for all in-studio visits. Per the CDC guidelines, guests ages 3 years or older will need to wear a mask while in-studio.  Please have masks with you that properly cover your nose and mouth. We offer To-Go Kits for those who are unable to wear masks.
  • Can we bring in food and drinks to Paintbrush Pottery?
    • No, outside food and drinks are not permitted.
  • How long does it take to get my pieces back?
    • Your pieces will be ready for pick-up one week from the date you painted with us AFTER 2:00. Your pick-up date is located at the top of your digital receipt. Your receipt is texted or emailed to you at check-out.
  • Is there an age requirement to paint in studio?
    • No, we welcome painters of all ages! All children ages 12 and younger will need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • What are you doing to be COVID compliant?
    • We are working very hard to be COVID compliant. When guests and employees arrive, they are instructed to wash hands with antibacterial soap in the restroom. Masks are required for all in-studio visits. We are on a reservation- only basis, which helps us limit how many people are in the studio. All of our tables are spaced 6 feet apart. We also have curtains in-between all tables. The tables, chairs, curtains, brushes, palettes, and water buckets are disinfected after each guest. We are frequently changing out the air filter. In addition, we are frequently disinfecting high-touch areas such as door handles, the desk, etc. Our staff is pouring all paints and bringing refills to the tables in order to reduce how many people are up and walking around the studio. We have made many changes in order to keep our loyal customers and staff happy and healthy.
