Paintbrush Pottery is a family owned business, started January 2006, taking over an existing pottery studio. The owner is Linda Mershad, a "stay at home Mom" for 40 years.  Linda does all the "behind the scenes" work for the business from her home, including all the monthly flyers of events, calendars & E-newsletters.  Daughter, Lee Mershad, is the manager and "hands on" in the studio.  She does all the merchandising and is very artistic in creating samples for you to use as ideas.  Lee is a Mom of 3 (Steve 18, Megan 16 & Alex 11) and does a great job of balancing work and family. You will often see Megan & Alex helping out in the studio.  She is the wife of Jason Thomas, who owns his own business - HOME MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS. 
We are a "Paint Your Own Pottery Studio" and offer a large selection of pottery ranging from holiday items to kitchenware.  We also have a fun, creative kids section.  There is something for ALL AGES to paint.  To assist you in creating and designing that special ceramics piece, we offer three different types of paints, from food safe to nonfood safe.  We carry stencils, stamps, pictures and other items to assist you in letting your imagination run freely.  Once you paint your piece, we glaze and fire it.  Your art is ready for pick up in 7 days.  Note:  If you paint your ceramics with acrylic paint then you may take the item home same day after it has been sealed by one of our staff.  
We do suggest that you come in 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. before closing time so you
have adequate time to finish your piece.
